The world of sailing, water sports and adventure has just lost one of its greatest ambassadors.

Charlie Dalin passed away at the age of 42, leaving behind him much more than an exceptional track record.
He is remembered as a man who dedicated his life to exploration, to surpassing oneself and to that quest
for freedom that only sailors, kitesurfers, windsurfers and all lovers of the ocean deeply understand. A naval architect by training, an exceptional sailor by passion, Charlie Dalin made history by winning
the 2024-2025 Vendée Globe with a record time. A performance that will be remembered as one
of the greatest pages in modern ocean racing.

But behind the champion was above all a man. A man who looked at the horizon with humility.
A man who knew that nature never totally dominates itself. A man who accepted storms as well as
lulls, victories as well as difficulties.

What touches us today is not only his incredible sporting career. This is how he
embodied some of the most beautiful values of sport: courage, resilience, commitment, respect for
the environment and genuine passion.

At Jaxsun Sports, we know that the sea is a school of life. It teaches us to remain humble in the face of the
elements, to constantly adapt and to continue on our way despite obstacles.

Charlie Dalin perfectly represented this state of mind.

Through his exploits, he inspired thousands of people to step out of their comfort zone, believe in their
dreams and explore their own horizons.

Today, our thoughts are with his family, loved ones, crew and the entire sailing community.

Records will be broken one day. The trophies will eventually gather dust.
But the inspiration that a man leaves behind stands the test of time.

“Some men cross the oceans. Others go through life. The rarest accomplish both. “

Thank you Charlie for this lesson in courage, resilience and freedom.
The wind will continue to carry your name far beyond the horizon.
